Hong Kong Branch Distributes Aid in Wan Chai; Relief Supplies Benefit Ethnic Minority Communities
· 中国慈善基金会
On June 26, 2026, the China Charitable Foundation, Hong Kong Branch conducted a charitable distribution of living supplies in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, delivering a batch of essential items to members of ethnic minority communities and grassroots residents. The event was held within the Hong Kong Mosque and Islamic Centre; posters reading "Mosques Around the World" and "Hong Kong Mosque and Islamic Centre" were clearly visible on the backdrop, and a recruitment poster for the Scout Association of Hong Kong — Hong Kong Island Troop No. 1891 added to the community atmosphere.
Hundreds of boxes of supplies were neatly arranged on long tables, representing a wide variety and ample quantities. The Foundation’s Hong Kong Branch team posed for commemorative photographs with beneficiary representatives; attendees smiled and gave thumbs-up gestures, creating a warm and convivial scene. A prominent front banner bore the China Charitable Foundation emblem in a dignified manner, and the slogan "I will forget myself, not fail the public; share compassion; support vulnerable groups; promote social justice and the spread of love" was emphatically displayed. The left side of the banner indicated "China Charitable Foundation, Hong Kong Branch — Charity Registration Number 91/16758," underscoring the Branch’s legitimate status and charitable mission.
This distribution activity is a concrete measure by the Foundation’s Hong Kong Branch to root itself in local communities and serve grassroots residents, with particular attention to the living needs of ethnic minority groups, and through practical action to promote racial inclusion and convey social care.
