The Foundation has concurrently launched the "Healthy Public Welfare Initiative" series of services. In the therapy room adjacent to the office, professional therapists provide community residents with free traditional Chinese medicine tuina (therapeutic massage), meridian-regulation treatments, and other health services. In the footage, a senior therapist is attentively performing a back tuina on a resident, demonstrating skilled technique and appropriate pressure. The therapy room is also equipped with advanced infrared therapy chambers and other devices to meet the health-regulation needs of diverse groups.
According to reports, this health service project gives priority access to elderly residents, persons with disabilities, and low-income groups within the jurisdiction. It aims to alleviate physical discomfort among grassroots populations and improve their quality of life by combining traditional Chinese medical therapies with modern therapeutic equipment. Going forward, the Foundation will regularly organize free clinics by TCM physicians, health lectures, and other activities to impart health concepts and practical skills to more community residents.
